Remember that our FDA-compliant face paint is a lot like regular makeup, and so we recommend removing before bed (otherwise you may end up with pillowcase stains!). To wash off face paint, first apply your preferred brand of soap--we love Neutrogena face wash, and no-tear formula baby wash. Lather with or without water, sometimes using no water does a better job. Then rinse with warm water. Some painters recommend wiping paint off with a cloth or baby wipe prior to washing, but we find that using only face wash gets the job done much better! The glycerine in the wash reacts with the paint and "lifts" it off the skin.
If there are shadows of more stubborn colors left, try applying face lotion, waiting at least 30 minutes, and then washing again.
