We love working for private clients, and private parties account for the majority of our business. But we also occasionally develop a partnership or are hired by a company or charity to work for their events. Here's a little info on our favorite companies and charities we've worked with/for here in Orange County (all titles are clickable links you can visit for more info)!
Animals in need are close to our hearts. Stella's Hope is a non-profit no kill, all-breed dog rescue based in Costa Mesa. It is run by a small, incredibly dedicated group of people. Visit their website for info on pets available for adoption, or if you're not ready for a commitment they are usually looking for loving homes to serve as fosters for animals waiting to be adopted.
Breast Cancer Angels
Breast Cancer Angels is a non-profit, independent organization founded by cancer survivors. The Mission of Breast Cancer Angels is to provide financial, emotional and spiritual assistance for women and their families as they are going through breast cancer treatment. We have participated in their annual Taste at the Point event in Long Beach two years in a row. The women (and men) of this organization have big hearts and are a joy to work with.
Petco hosts adoption events on weekends at various locations all over the place. We have a partnership with Petco and have painted at several events! We are always struck by the dedication and passion of the adoption agencies present at the events.
Nohl Canyon Elementary
We have been a vendor at Nohl Canyon's annual Back to School carnival two years in a row, and we always have a great time! The kids, parents, and staff are always energetic, personable, and fun. We can tell it is a great environment for kids and their families.
Patchwork Indie Arts & Crafts Festival
Though it doesn't necessarily fit in with the others on the list, we love participating in Patchwork because of the people involved! Founders Nicole and Delilah put SO much work into every festival that their love of it shows in every detail. We may not be participating as a vendor every year, but we will always attend and support local artisans!
Hopefully we can make another blog post like this sometime soon with even more companies! Most importantly, the thing all these places have in common is the people working for them. We have made contact with so many people who are passionate about what they do, and it makes us want to do just as much good as they do!
Until next time,
